Everyone on post.
Help in seconds.

The problem

Sunday safety runs on texts, sticky notes and memory.

  1. Who is on which post this week? Someone has to ask, again.
  2. Swaps get arranged in a group text, and the captain finds out at the door.
  3. When something happens, there's no fast way to reach the right people.
  4. A stuck radio blocks the channel, and nobody knows whose it is.
  5. Afterward, no one can say what happened or when.

How Kirk solves it

One app for your whole Sunday.

  1. 01 · Schedule and swaps

    See every post, every Sunday.

Open posts are easy to spot and easy to fill. Swaps happen in the app, not in a group text.

No more guessing who is on which post, or swapping by group text.

Schedule for October 2026. Filled days and open posts are marked. Sun Oct 11, 9:30 service, 2 open posts: Lobby and Parking.
  2. 02 · Live Sunday check-in

Know who is here before the doors open.

Each crew member sees their post and arrival time, then checks in. Captains see how many of the crew have arrived.

No more finding out at the door.

Sample church Sunday check-in. North Door, be there by 9:10, a Check in button, and 3 of 5 crew checked in.
  3. 03 · Report in seconds

Hold for one second. Pick a type.

Medical, Safety threat, Child or family, and Other go to every active member of that church. It shows the type or a general label, and the zone when one is set.

No more scrambling to reach the right people.

What's happening? Medical, Safety threat, Child or family, Other, and Stuck radio under Not an emergency.
  4. 04 · Stuck radio alert

    Find the stuck radio fast.

A stuck radio isn't an emergency, so it stays apart from real alerts. Stuck radio reports a radio that is stuck on. It does not transmit audio. Crew get a notice, someone finds the radio, and the channel is clear again.

No more blocked channel and no idea whose radio it is.

Stuck radio, live. Someone's radio is keyed, reported by Maya in the Sanctuary at 9:41 AM. Kirk alerts phones only. It never transmits audio.
  5. 05 · Crew chat

    Messages for the crew.

Direct messages, a group chat, or a note to everyone on the roster. A captain can delete incident reports. Notes to everyone cannot be deleted by anyone. Deleted chats are hidden, not erased. Optional incident descriptions are deleted after the time captains set (1 to 90 days).

No more guessing what was said or done.

9:30 crew group chat. A note to everyone, then messages from Alex, Maya, and Sam.

Who it's for

Made for the whole safety team.

Kirk is for adults 18 and over.

Captains

Captains set up the church, invite people, and manage the roster. They also build the Sunday schedule and see who has checked in.

Less chasing and texting

Crew members

See your post and arrival time, check in, and report with one hold.

Know where you're needed

Built with care

Alerts show a type or a general label.

What an alert shows

An alert shows the type or a general label, and the zone when one is set. Message text can appear in notifications. A new-message notification can include the first 60 characters of the message and no sender name. That text passes through Apple, Expo and Google. People can hide message text in notifications.

What we keep

A captain can delete incident reports. Notes to everyone cannot be deleted by anyone. Deleted chats are hidden, not erased. Optional incident descriptions are deleted after the time captains set (1 to 90 days).

Who can see it

Captains and church admins see only their own church. Crew in your church can see each other's phone numbers. Kirk has one platform owner. They can see church setup and look up any person by exact email across churches (role, sign-in state, and last sign-in time). They can create churches, edit the public site copy and ops banner, keep church notes, archive a church (which blocks everyone in it from signing in until it is restored) or rename a church, reissue invites, and revoke access. They can promote an existing member to captain, issue a captain invite, and set a church's primary captain email. Kirk does not check in children. Read Safety and privacy
